Cloud-Busting was established in 2022 by Mel Archbould following the successful sale of their family-owned engineering SME business.
Reflecting on all of the lessons learned over the 17 years, and there were many, she realised that at no point when seeking support, guidance, coaching and counsel, did she ever speak with anyone who remotely came close to having experienced what she was living through.
Mel understands the additional dynamics that come with family-owned businesses, she understands working in engineering and manufacturing, exporting globally, innovation and product development, entering new markets, the importance of building customer and brand loyalty and how to live and breathe your values. Mel also understands the challenges and dilemmas when cash gets tight, when people don’t perform and why when you work all hours, and it is still not enough and how it is impossible to make the right decision when the data is flawed.
